Tips of the Gap
When you receive the baby gate, it is normal for the latch to have a gap. Because this gate is installed by pressure. After you install the gate, the gap will disappear.

The Gap is Disappearing
1. If the bolts are too tight, you will find the gate is difficult to open, and you need to use a wrench to loosen the bolts a little.
2. If the bolts are too loose, the gate lock cannot be locked, you need to continue to tighten the bolts.
Cut off Tightening Band
Cutting the tightening straps is the final step in installing a baby gate. If you cut off the tightening belt in advance, this will not affect the installation and use of the gate, you can continue to tighten the bolts so that the latch distance is 0.078inch.
