Is your door between 1 1/8" and 1 3/8" thick? (Please measure the thickness of your doors)
Is your door made of wood? (Not for use on metal doors)
Is the top hinge start at least 2 ½ " from the top of the door? (If the top hinge is too high the bi-fold lock will not slide side to side
Are the tops of the 2 panels aligned? (If one door panels is higher than the other the bi-fold lock may not slide side to side easily)
Are front surfaces of the 2 panels aligned? (If the front surface is more forward than the other the bi-fold lock may not slide side to side easily)
When you open the doors is there at least ¼" clearance between the doors upper edge and the door frame? (Lack of clearance may make it hard to open or close your bi-fold doors)
